Sparkling Teeth in Oakland - Tooth Whitening With the Strength of the Dragon

Filed Under Oakland Tooth Whitening Recommendations

For residents of Oakland, tooth whitening has a new set of teeth … dragon’s teeth. The Dragon Dental Group was founded in 2003 by Dr. Joyce Tse, a regionally renowned expert with more than fifteen years experience in the Bay Area. This cutting-edge facility boasts the latest in cosmetic dentistry technology, and their staff is dedicated to providing the highest levels of patient care and comfort.

Dr. Tse received her undergraduate degree from Berkeley, and then graduated from UC San Francisco’s dental school. She is joined in her practise by two young and dedicated colleagues, Eric Cheung and Helen Yu. Like Dr. Tse, Dr. Cheung studied at Berkeley and UCSF, while Dr. Yu is a graduate of the University of Michigan.

Dragon Dental Group provides a full range of family dentistry and cosmetic dental treatments. They place an emphasis on the preservation of dental health in the belief that a comprehensive approach to dental care is a vital foundation to a bright white smile. Seen in this light, tooth whitening procedures are the culmination of healthy tooth care, not the beginning. The goal is to provide ongoing dental health care, rather than disease care.

Your treatment at Dr. Tse’s clinic will usually require two office visits. At the first appointment molds will be made of your teeth, from which clear trays will be custom-built to fit your mouth precisely. When you return for your second visit, the trays will be adjusted for a perfect fit, and you’ll be instructed as to how the treatment should be continued at home. Depending on the degree of discoloration, you’ll wear the trays either overnight, or for 30 minutes twice a day, over a period of two weeks.

You’ll find the Dragon Dental Group conveniently located in downtown Oakland, a block off Broadway at 11808 Franklin.
